&AElig;ventyr1 AS wants you as a user to be confident that we safeguard your privacy and process all personal data in accordance with the law.
Personal Data 
To use the online booking service, you must provide your name, address, telephone number, and email. To register an order, information about the time of rental and what kind of equipment is reserved/ordered must necessarily also be stored. There is an age limit of 18 for the use of the service, and you must therefore also state your year of birth. When using the service, your order history is stored. This personal data is used to deliver the service to you. This personal data is stored as long as you are registered as a user with us. The personal data we have registered is available and can be changed on your page. You can also contact us and ask us to remove your personal data or be deregistered from our systems. You will then no longer be able to use the service unless you register again.
Personal Data to Third Parties 
&AElig;ventyr1 AS uses various third-party services for analytics, advertising, and to provide certain features and functions on our website. These services may collect data about users, using cookies and similar tracking technologies. This data is used to analyze website usage, provide targeted advertising, and improve our services.
The data collected by these third parties is handled according to their respective privacy policies. While this data is typically anonymized and aggregated, some of these third parties may have access to personal data such as IP addresses.

Apart from these necessary third-party services, &AElig;ventyr1 AS will not sell, exchange, or pass on your personal data. Order information is handled in a system delivered by Sharefox.
Payment Information 
When you place an order, your card information is stored with the payment provider DIBS to handle your order. DIBS stores the information in a secure and responsible manner and is PCI certified. This allows us to handle order changes, cancellation of reservations such as deposits, crediting, additional costs incurred by the user (for late return, damage, or similar), as well as reduce abuse and shrinkage. Transaction information is stored related to your order, but not the card information. Transaction information will be stored as long as you are registered as a user of the service, cf. the section on personal data.
Use of Collected Information 
The personal data collected for these purposes includes both information you provide yourself (name, email address, etc.) and information collected through the use of the service, such as what equipment you rent and information about the position and technical information about your device and internet connection. The personal data may be supplemented with available information from third-party providers.
Cookies 
When you visit our service, we use various technologies to recognize you as a user and collect data. For example, we use cookies to remember rental dates and equipment. Cookies simplify the use of the service and provide you with relevant information when you visit our website. They are also used to cache data such as available rental dates, prices, and similar.
Through server logs and other tools, we can register information about the device and the connection to our service, including operating system, browser version, IP address, cookies, and unique identification files. This information is used in anonymous and aggregated statistics but can also be linked to your user account. The information allows us, among other things, to adapt the display of our service to the device you are using.

Terms and Conditions
Rental and Purchase Terms for &AElig;ventyr1 AS
1. General
1.1 These terms apply to the rental and purchase of winter clothing and equipment ("Items") from &AElig;ventyr1 AS ("the Company") located at Markedsgata 6, 9510 Alta, Norway.
1.2 By renting or purchasing items from the Company, the customer ("Customer") agrees to these terms in full.
1.3 The Customer accepts these terms by placing an order on the Company&rsquo;s website.
2. Definition of Parties
2.1 The lessor or seller is &AElig;ventyr1 AS, hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "the Company", or "&AElig;ventyr1".
2.2 The lessee is the person listed as the renter or buyer in the order, hereinafter referred to as "the lessee", "the customer", "you", or "your".
2.3 "Rental items" include equipment, machines, and other items rented via &AElig;ventyr1&rsquo;s website.
2.4 "Delivery method/service points" refer to delivery or return at a store, kiosk, or home delivery.
3. Payment, Deposit, and Prices
3.1 Payment is made via Visa or Mastercard through our payment provider DIBS, which meets the highest security standards. The rental agreement is considered entered into when the lessee makes payment at the time of ordering.
3.2 A fixed deposit fee of NOK 500 is required for all rentals and must be paid at the time of ordering along with the rental fee.
3.3 The deposit will be refunded to the Customer upon returning the items in good condition. The Company reserves the right to withhold all or part of the deposit to cover damages, late returns, or other breaches of these terms.
3.4 All prices include value-added tax (VAT). The total cost is displayed before ordering and includes all costs associated with the rental or purchase.
3.5 In case of significant pricing errors, the Company reserves the right to unilaterally amend, delete, or reject orders, even after the Customer has received an order confirmation. Such errors must be corrected and communicated to the Customer within a reasonable time.
4. Condition of Rental Items
4.1 The Company undertakes to deliver high-quality rental items in operational condition. The equipment is checked and maintained before and after rental.
4.2 The Customer is responsible for damages or loss during the rental period unless caused by technical faults or defects. The Customer must inspect the rental items before use and notify the Company of any discrepancies.
5. Damages
5.1 All damages, technical faults, or accidents during the rental period must be reported immediately to rental@aeventyr.no, including cases of theft.
5.2 In cases of misuse or negligence, the Company may retain the deposit and claim additional amounts to cover repair, service, or replacement costs. Replacement costs are as follows:

<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Extreme mittens: NOK 1500</li>
</ul>
6. Use of Rental Items
6.1 Use of rental items is at your own risk. Users must be over 18 years old.
6.2 The Customer is responsible for the correct and safe use of the equipment. User manuals and safety procedures are provided by the Company and must be followed.
7. Accessories
7.1 Accessories must generally be rented or purchased separately when placing an order.
7.2 Personal accessories and consumables are sold but not rented out.
8. Customer Rights and Obligations
8.1 The Customer must be 18 years or older and provide accurate information when creating a user account.
8.2 The user account is personal. Any suspected misuse must be reported to the Company.
8.3 The Customer must return rental items within the agreed time and using the agreed method.
9. Order Changes
9.1 Changes must be agreed upon in writing with the Company. A change fee of NOK 300 may apply.
10. Delivery and Return
10.1 Delivery and return occur as specified in the order confirmation.
10.2 The Customer is responsible for rental items until they are returned to the Company.
11. Right of Withdrawal on Purchases
11.1 The right of withdrawal applies only to purchases, not rentals. Notice of withdrawal must be given within 14 days of receipt.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the website is protected under copyright law.
13. Privacy
13.1 The Company processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law, with Oslo District Court as the agreed legal venue.
15. Changes
15.1 The Company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
By placing an order, the Customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
